Inside Sales

Job Description
To proactively support the generation of the Sales pipeline in the North America region, working closely with Marketing and Sales functions and focusing on lead generation to pass on to Field Sales team to close

Job responsibilities:
  • Generation and development of qualified leads for North America sales team.
  • Primarily handling outbound calls, coordinating with email and mailing efforts across all sales channels, but also some inbound call handling in response to online enquiries and other marketing activities.
  • Work with prospect database to develop prospects into qualified leads, coordinating with sales activities.
  • Work with marketing to assist in event follow-up and mail campaigns.
  • Assist in developing new business development campaigns and then managing and executing the campaign.
  • Create and work suspect lists using various marketing activities.
  • Develop and maintain the required knowledge of Heiler solutions and services to identify customer needs and maximize the opportunity.
Required Skills
  • Previous experience of operating in a telephone based sales/marketing role
  • Excellent telephone skills combined with a proven track record of building customer relationships over the phone by using a professional, friendly and tenacious approach
  • Willingness to continually learn and develop skills in Product Information Management (PIM) and eCommerce
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with ability to present findings in a clear & concise manner
  • Solid experience in use and management of CRM/sales/lead generation databases
  • Proven capability to work with high volumes of data within tight timescales whilst maintaining accuracy
  • Solid experience in Microsoft Outlook (or equivalent) for general company communication
  • Solid experience in Microsoft Excel with a good grasp of basic functions
  • Solid experience in Internet searching to gather relevant data and verify information
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical approach to work
  • High energy self starter
  • Ability to work without constant supervision
  • Career plans to move into a direct sales role
  • Fearless, willing to pickup the phone and call prospects
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of PIM market and needs of customers
  • Previous experience of working in a sales role with an overall understanding of the sales cycle
  • Previous experience of working within a software company
  • Information Technology or Computer Science knowledge an advantage
